Social media management for a detailing business
Instagram is the portfolio for this trade. Customers do not read your about page, they scroll twenty posts to decide whether you are careful with a car. So the account has to look active, and most shop accounts go quiet the week the shop gets busy, which is exactly the week the referrals are checking.
A workable rhythm is four to five posts a week: two before and after reels, one process clip, one finished car, one thing about you or the shop. Shoot it on the phone while you work and hand the clips off. Do not try to write captions at 8pm.
Facebook matters for a different reason. Local community groups and the recommendations posted inside them still drive real bookings in smaller markets.
The measure after two weeks is not followers. It is DMs asking what you charge, and saved posts, which is what somebody does before they book.
